Steve Which book would you recommend to someone to read first from your listing? thanks Mary Ann
Hi there Mary Ann,
Great Question!
From a professional development standpoint, the first book I recommend to everyone is The Success Principles by Jack Canfield. This book provides great foundation content for you to build your success upon.
For Customer Service, a great place to start is Raving Fans by Ken Blanchard. This book tells a story (a parable) about the difference between ordinary and extraordinary service to create loyal customers (“Raving Fans”)
Comments here do not permit web links but both of these titles are easily found (listed first) under their respective sections on my Recommended Reading Store.
Happy Reading!

On your advise I read “Blink” by Malcolm Gladwell.
Very interesting stuff. Do you have any other suggestions? Also, I wonder if you read “Blunder” and if so what your thoughts were?

Hi Dave,
Very interesting indeed and speaks to a lot of the behavioral science we cover in training. Have not read Blunder (yet) but along the lines of Blink and tied more into retail I highly recommend Buyology by Martin Lindstrom.
You can order it here > Buyology: Truth and Lies About Why We Buy
Happy Reading!
